Southern African Institute of Quality and Innovation
is a Not for Profit member organisation formed to advance the agenda of quality & innovation through the SADC region, promote the focus on quality & innovation and advocate for training in the fields of quality and innovation.
Our Focus is to ensure that there is quality awareness in various fields that are critical to the development of the region especially education, healthcare and food security.
With great private public partnerships established by the organisation throughout the region, SAIQI is better placed to deliver on the mandate of Quality and Innovation promotion.
We do however understand that without contribution of our members who are experts in these fields this vision will not be realised.

SADC Objectives
The main objectives of SADC are to achieve development, peace and security, and economic growth, to alleviate poverty, enhance the standard and quality of life of the peoples of Southern Africa, and support the socially disadvantaged through regional integration, built on democratic principles and equitable and sustainable development.
The Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan is underpinned by the SADC Vision, which charts the direction for the development of the region. The Declaration “Towards the Southern African Development Community“, adopted by Heads of State or Government of Southern African States in Windhoek, Namibia, on 17 August 1992, calls upon all countries and people of Southern Africa to develop a vision of a shared future, a future within a regional community.
The SADC Vision is to build a region in which there will be a high degree of harmonisation and rationalisation, to enable the pooling of resources to achieve collective self-reliance in order to improve the living standards of the people of the region.
The vision of SADC is one of a Common Future, a future within a regional community that will ensure economic well-being, improvement of the standards of living and quality of life, freedom and social justice and peace and security for the people of Southern Africa.
